A Roundtable Discussion with Members & Friends

Learn from the best - your esteemed colleagues!  

We will share stories from the field on how best to approach foundations and build relationships - what worked and what didn't.

Nancy Rubini, White Plains Library Foundation; Maria Dautruche of the National Urban League; and Maureen Fox, Legal Services of the Hudson Valley -- will start the conversation. All have worked at several nonprofits and built relationships with multiple funders over long careers at organizations ranging from the arts to justice, from human services to legal services.

Then we want to hear from YOU - bring your questions and advice.

We will also share comments we have gathered from foundation officers regarding making contact before submitting a proposal and pet peeves.  But we will NOT have funders on the Zoom.  This event is designed to learn from the wealth of knowledge in our group. 

In Fall 2021, we will hear directly from program officers at our Meet the Funders event in conjunction with ADO.
